Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in the year 2016. The Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze on the balance beam. As a result, she was the very first American at the Olympics with the top number of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event, which gave her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being among the few Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were awarded in the floor-based individual and all-around event. After the 2002 Olympics she stopped for three years gymnastics. Additionally she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics teams. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the line of socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
